After learning that his childhood girlfriend Noi-Naa is getting married, Jeab returns to his small town in the province. As he does so, memories of his early years in Thailand in the 1980s flood back. His father would have to give him a ride on the back of the motorbike since he could never seem to make it to school on time. He always played with Noi-Naa and her pals after school, while the guys from the neighbourhood rode their bicycles, played football, and made up Chinese fantasy characters.
